What to Expect on Your First Chiropractic Visit

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: Please read the text or email from our office carefully. It contains important forms to download and fill out before your appointment. Your first chiropractic visit will last about 45 minutes, so please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in, complete the paperwork, and scan your ID.
Day 1: Examination | Consultation ($139)
Your initial appointment with Coastal Chiropractic is essential for accurately identifying the root cause to provide a tailored treatment. This visit includes a comprehensive consultation and examination. During the consultation, the doctor will discuss your symptoms and medical history to gain a thorough understanding of your condition.
This will be followed by a physical examination, which includes orthopedic exams, range of motion assessments, and a thermal scan to identify specific areas that need attention. If medically necessary, there are in house x-rays that are included in this visit, up to 4 films. If X-rays are taken during this visit, there is no adjustment until the second visit due to the compressive and time commitment it takes to diagnose and analyze the radiology, ensuring the most accurate and specific adjustment for healing. Our medical professionals needs to evaluate your condition and make sure that you are a good chiropractic case and properly understand your condition before treatment is performed. Day 2: Report of Findings | 1st Adjustment ($60)
During this visit, one of our chiropractors will review all X-rays, and thermal scans, and provide a personalized treatment or wellness plan designed to help you achieve optimal function. This appointment is also educational, explaining the issues in your spine and how they are causing your symptoms. We will discuss the doctor’s recommendations for your care and the associated costs of your visits. You will be adjusted this visit to start the healing process.

Do you accept my insurance?
We offer cash pricing that is comparable to or often less than the average co-pay.
The goal of this office is high-quality care that is not commonly covered with insurance, but feel free to bring in a copy of your insurance on your first visit, and we would be happy to check your benefits to provide you with the pricing details. If we are out-of-network with your insurance company, we can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
We accept HSA/FSA payments as well!
